Prelude to Destiny
Throughout the ages, there have been many recorded accounts of heroic tales. Accounts of brave men and women of various species and life forms, who have played an intricate part of a planet’s, dimension, universes history. Many stories have focused on legendary chosen warriors chosen by fate to do battle with various forces of good and evil. In many cases the line between and good and evil are rarely easily defined.
This story takes place on in a distant universe on a distant planet called Alister. This planet underwent three major wars that not only determined the fate of the planet, but of the entire multi-verse. These three wars were known as the three great wars.
The first great war was the war between the humanoids, Gigantions (Large beast Resembling fierce animals, such as Lions, Sea Creatures, Rhinos, Moose, and Hawks), and the mystics (Mutated humans capable of utilizing the forces of nature and magic). It was a long fought war full of many worthy of being called heroes and villains. The war was full of deception and led to the eventual extinction or perception of extinction of the Gigantions.
Two centuries after the war a betrayal occurred and war broke out between the mystics and the humanoids. Eventually a secret plot was revealed that brought about the release of demonic and dark forces that would aim to devour the planet of all life. Selected heroes and what would be known as descendents the last surviving group of Gigantions (Mermaids and Mermen) would combat these forces. Through a unified effort, the mystics and the dark demons arrival would be halted and prevented thanks to selected events.
For the most part peace reigned through the land and the descendents of the Gigantions, have evolved or devolved to be compatible with humanoids, eventually leading to hybrids, and through the ages, eventually for the most part acceptance would be gain. Although many wars would ensure over the years, none would be as decisive as the third Great War.
The war came about in secret when the new race of humanoids and Gigantions became dominant, and without the presence of mysticisms, there was no longer dependent on their magic. This led the people to looking at science and they spent more time advancing their civilizations. Eventually in the age of science and technology, there arrived a small group of descendents of Mysticisms, who wanted to revive their heritage lost wok. Fortunately there where some humanoids, who have not forgotten their past, and unmercifully destroyed the area, but one member survived, and it would lead the campaign of absolute vengeance, by summoning the great Devourer of all Amam.
Indeed the planet of Alister’s history has had its share of dangerous wars and the fate of the universe lies within this planet’s destiny. Many heroes would rise to the challenge, but there is only one history, which have persisted not only before the wars, but would persist throughout each of the wars to lead to salvation of all time. Unfortunately, this story is the story of a hero that was never honored, but its heroic tale will be mentioned to honor its great memory of how it saved everything. This is the story of the…………………………………………….……

Yeah this is my pactice story, Yes this is a story about how a rock saved everything. Due to limitations in the story, most of the plot won't be mentioned, hence why the prelude was to give information about the events, so some recollection of what will be occuring will be for some part understood. I plan on writing the rest of the story, after I finish a bit more research on the type of rock I will used. I hope this story becomes as exciting or at the least interesting as I think

I have to say that your writing skills have definitely improved a little bit, but I thought that the story would take place on Earth. What made you change you mind, or was this what you had in mind all along?

I don't know what you made that, that would be more history research and that would be annoying. So much easier to make my own world, and my own battle. Plus earth is boring.

In truth, you're so incredibly wrong about that. Earth isn't boring, it's just messed up. First, any story worth it's salt will require some research, and secondly, you're just being lazy again. You should watch the history channel more often, man, because I got a story idea almost every time I watch it.

Today, there was a show about krakatoa, one of the most powerful volcano eruptions in recorded history. It happened on one of the Asian islands, and they say that it may have blotted out the sun for several months in Europe and caused plagues and famine in the area.

<.<. Well you have your way of doing things and I have mine. This is a warm up story, to help war up. I don't want to overdo it, or my laziness will prevent me from getting started. Once I finish this, I could put more effort in the next one. Perhaps the next one would be the rock that may of altered earth history. Plus I still find fiction more interesting than reality. Although I suppose reality does have its moments.

In truth, if you can't stop being lazy for this small story, what chance do you have for one of your bigger stories?
